Mr. Jan Nosko (MSc, PhD) Scientific Manager, Researcher
Jan Nosko, is the director of the School of Public Health at the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine and the Vice-President of the Main Board of the Polish Public Health Association. He is also an expert of the Ministry of Health for public health training curriculum, and a member of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Council at the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate of Poland.
His research interests are focused on history of public health, health policy and health care systems. He is the editor, author and co-author of 5 books and over 40 publications dealing with health care management, health promotion and systems of public health. A large number of presentations on Polish and international conferences are of his participation.
During 1999-2004 he took part in the preparation and realization of the European Public Health and Health Management Training Pilot Initiative financed by Leonardo da Vinci grant.
