Mike Ahern (BA, BSc, MSc) -
Research Fellow
Mike Ahern has been based at the LSHTM since 2000. His educational background includes training in geography (School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London) and infectious disease control (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London). The current focus of his research is on the health effects of global change in particular, and in particular the effects of such change on communities in low-income countries. He is Course Organiser for the MSc Public Health, and teaches on Environment, Health and Sustainable Development.
He is also a member of the LSHTM Centre on Global Change and Health.
